Yes, I am! 🙂
For the last couple of days I was using latest version of Gravity, that is Version 1.17 Build 5180. I mean the five day trial version. And I really loved the user interface and the features. One such feature that I liked the most is the preview function which works for pictures posted to TwitPic, MobyPicture, Posterous and TwitGoo, where you can preview the image on Gravity itself, this is what I mean;
Cool isn’t it? So I decided to buy the full version. And after two days of using the demo version, I actually purchased it.
The registering process was bit looong, and like @Ew4n said, it would have been nice to simply click once and have Gravity activated. However it was not the case.
There’s no way you can activate or register from the Gravity application itself. You have to visit their Website and select a reseller.
I chose Fastspring, since it says for all customers. I was kind of delighted when I saw the price in local currency – LKR 1,212.70 and then you have to fill in your contact details…
First name, last name, phone number, address, city, postal code and the email address are all mandatory fields. So fill them out, else you won’t be able to proceed to the next step.
On the next screen you will have to provide your payment details and click “Complete Order” and you will be sent an email containing your access code for downloading Gravity and a link to enter your access code.
So you enter the access code which you received by an email and your phone’s IMEI ( To retrieve the IMEI of your phone, dial: *#06# ) and the email address and click register. Then you will be presented with your registerted copy of Gravity ready to be downloaded to your PC.
I downloaded the 1.06 version. Then removed the trial version from my handset and installed it via the Nokia PC Suite. And then updated to the latest via the application itself.
It’s indeed a very long process isn’t it?
