Wondering what this all about?
It’s a innovative service by Touchnote, winner of the Tesla award for mobile services at MobileBeat 2009 in San Francisco.
Touchnote for Mobile lets you capture a moment from anywhere and send it as a real card to anywhere in the world, including Sri Lanka. As you could see, I just downloaded the free app for my Nokia N82 from the OVI Store and tested it few days back, yesterday my wife was surprised to get it by post, I was too 🙂
If you have Nokia Series 60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 or 2 handsets, why don’t ya try this free pack, which consist of a single card for you to send it to your self or to others.
Or you can buy 3 different card packs on the Ovi Store
- 1 card pack = £3.00
- 2 card pack = £5.00
- 5 card pack = £10.00
How does it work? Simple
- Just take a photo or use one that’s already on your phone…
- Write your message and address of who you want to send it to…
- Then send it directly from your mobile using WiFi or your phone’s data connection.
Then Touchnote will print it and post it as a physical greeting card, just like the one you see on the top.
