Nokia X3 – The First Series40 Device To Sport Ovi Store

Nokia X3, the slider with a 3.2-megapixel camera and 2.2-inch screen. Stereo speakers, dedicated music keys and support for up to 16GB of storage via microSD card. The X3 also sports an active homescreen where you can see your contacts, friends and current music playing. Thanks to the Flight Mode, now you can continue listening to your favourite music while flying.

Bluetooth 2.1 is supported with stereo audio profiles for wireless musical enjoyment. You can use your standard headphones since this handset has 3.5mm headphone jack. Full speed USB 2.0 makes music transfer quick and easy and music can be managed via the Windows Media Player 11.

Yes It comes with stereo speakersphones, excellent audio quality and a built-in FM radio antenna so you can now play your radio stations without pluging the headset.

Draw backs, no 3G connectivity and small internal memory (46MB only).

Currently Dialog Telekom is running a promotion on their site where they offer the Nokia X3 coupled with Blaster package and 100 Song downloads at a price tag of LKR 21,700/-.

The Nokia X3 runs the Series 40 6th edition but it’s unlike any S40 handset we’ve seen before. For a brief, joyful moment, we thought Nokia have finally given in and added multitasking. The truth turned out to be different but still there were small steps taken in the right direction. And you should see what they’ve done with the Gallery – it’s only a notch bellow the S60 one.
