Waiting to see the BH-905 headset
I'm actually interested to hear all about the TRC troubles and the headaches you went through. Is this normal for any communications item that is couriered to Sri Lanka? Or just this particular one?
I think all the telecommunications items goes through this process, specially cellular phones. First you have to get the approval from TRC and then go to Department of Import and Export Control (DIEC) to get the License. TRC is a painless process, max 15 min to get the work done. But DIEC, typical government office, will eat up your whole day just to print a A4 size paper.
Ah, thanks for the info
I might have to go through that process soon. Hopefully, it isn't that painful

Duties, taxes, DHL charges all taken care by WOMWORLD/Nokia. All we have to do is use it and give our feedback
The actual value of the phone is declared, when the N97 came to me back in September 2009, the commercial invoice beared a value of GBP 400.
