This is my first blog post from my new desktop PC which I bought from Barclays last week. And since we are temporarily at my parents place in Dehiwala and I don’t have an ADSL connection. I used my Dialog data plan on my handset, checkout the plan details here! Dialog you SUCK big time when it comes to 3G coverage. I mean Bharti Airtel is a new comer and they are serving Dehiwala area with full 3G coverage where as you guys been here for so long, and  still couldn’t provide a proper service to Dehiwala residence?

However! I had a pre-paid Airtel SIM, I loaded it with 50 rupees and connected to my PC using the Nokia Ovi Suite, the speed was excellent, but just under 7 minutes um out of fuel. I checked to see how many MB’s I have used - 3.5 to be exact. Which means 1 MB costs around 14 rupees.

I asked my cousin if there’s any alternative, and he told me that there’s a good offer from Airtel, where you get 101 Mega Bytes of internet browsing and 101 free SMS’s to any network in Sri Lanka for just Rs. 101/-.

And here I am, browsing the Internet
