Etisalat’s To Offer HSDPA 28.8 Megabits Per Second Speed

Etisalat Sri Lanka is to spend 18.5 billion rupees to expand it’s network by adding 480 new base stations and over 500 existing base stations in the urban area will be upgraded to third generation (3G) base stations and bring HSPA 28.8 megabits per second speed. Alcatel-Lucent has been chosen as the vendor.
